Advent is the season on the historic church calendar that prepares our hearts to anticipate and make room for Jesus the King. This four week plan incorporates animated videos, short summaries, and reflective questions to help participants explore the biblical meaning of hope, peace, joy, and love.
As a part of the Praise Church Family, our goal is to Make A Difference in our community. This year, we are once-again partnering with Some Other Place’s Meals on Wheels program to focus on those who are in need of a few small gifts from warm, caring people. We will also be blessing international students at Lamar University with warm apparel and blankets for the winter months.
How Can You Get Involved?
1. Fill A Bag: Pick up a gift bag for your family in the lobby, fill it with the suggested items.
OR
2. Fill a Hanger: Bring a new or gently used warm winter item and hang it on an empty hanger.
As God gave the gift of His Son to meet our needs, we can’t wait for our gifts to meet the needs of others!
You and your family are invited to join us this Christmas Eve at Praise Church. There are THREE service times to choose from; 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM or 4:00 PM on-site at 8150 N. Major dr. in Beaumont, TX. Let us know which service to plan to attend.
